The Archdiocese of Sydney will offer the RCIA Certification Course to help you learn, live, and share your faith with others!

The course will cover the following aspects:

• A deep dive into the four periods of RCIA – Precatechumenate, Catechumenate, Purification and Enlightenment, and Mystagogy;
• Understanding the three major Rites of the RCIA liturgical journey);
• The three formation aspects that govern the entire process – pastoral, catechetical, and liturgical;
  • How to walk with those with different Christian backgrounds and those with particular circumstances (cohabitating, civilly married, Orthodox backgrounds, other religious beliefs etc.);
• Resources to ensure a solid foundation to stay organised and on track throughout the process; and
• This year’s course will have a greater emphasis on evangelisation and what it means to walk with people towards conversion.

The course begins on Wednesday, 3 May, for six Wednesday sessions over twelve weeks, ending on 12 July. Live sessions will be recorded to ensure as many people can attend and not miss out on the content.
