Every year, the Safeguarding Office, in collaboration with Sydney Catholic Youth, offer two mandatory youth ministry safeguarding training sessions. Those who work with youth (under 18) within the parish setting must complete this training in order to minister to youth, regardless of whether it is paid or voluntary work. This training is open to anyone across the Archdiocese of Sydney.
